From 1 March, the sight of the introduction of the new registration, '10 'and buy historically a strong increase in activity of new cars is not the case in 2010.

In the past year a number of manufacturers continue to raise prices, with many of them, the prices on more than one occasion to be. Opel, Seat and Renault were just some of the manufacturers that higher prices more than once. However, that the prices of most Ford, with four additional increases in less than one year up to 2500 pounds to the price of a new Fiesta.

Simultaneously, the 'showroom tax is levied, which was introduced in April, one of the reasons why people would buy a new car this year. This is the first time tax years. It is used to buy people, the cars, loaded free of customers with high emissions and costs up to € 950 for most models.

Other reasons for the acquisition of new customers is that said a lot of people buy, they always needed, while others to the fact that they could not afford a car with all the other costs that a user says Parker, "The new family hatchback purchase must have at least 17k. My salary was frozen last year, but the cost of living rose significantly.

"Plus, that crazy price tag higher insurance premiums, VED, labor charges dealers (my current garage plus an hourly rate of €) 82 to € 111 this year. I simply can not afford a new car."

Despite the response to the rising costs, there is hope for automotive manufacturers and 45 percent of users surveyed said Parker, they would buy a new car in 2010.

Besides the need for a new car is the main reason why people buy in 2010 for the other two decisions are people who benefit from the scheme were to buy scrap.
